Eyeliner is a part of my everyday makeup and when I’m running late for work, which is almost always, I need something that’ll be mess free. That’s when I decided to give the Nicka K Microfine Artliner a shot. Read on to know if it met my expectations or not.
Price: Rs.350 for 1ml
Packaging: The eyeliner comes in a felt tip form and although, it isn’t the best one I’ve used so far, it allows you to easily draw thin as well as thick lines. It is very compact and can be easily carried around.
Shade and Pigmentation: This product comes in 6 different shades and I picked up the black one. I wouldn’t call it completely matte, since it does have sheen to it. No shimmers though! The pigmentation is amazing and you get the blackest black with just one swipe of it.
Staying Power: I’ve used this stuff in the crazy Mumbai humidity and it has never melted! I use it everyday in the morning and it lasts for a good 10 hours on my oily eyelids. *Impressed*
Suitability: Some of the eyeliners out there tend to sting on my eyes and I just cannot use them. But with this one, I did not face any such issues and hence it is suitable for people with sensitive eyes as well.
Transfer proof: Having hooded eyes, I struggle with eyeliners getting on to my lids in just an hour or so. But this one didn’t transfer even a bit!
Waterproof: The Nicka K Microfine Artliner is water resistant to a great extent but I wouldn’t say it is waterproof. I’ll not recommend you to step out with this one, when it’s pouring outside! Unless you want black tears rolling down your cheeks 😛

Since this one has a felt tip, I love using it on a daily basis. It is very easy to use and since it glides on easily, my eyeliner is done in just a minute! There is no tugging or pulling whatsoever.
Let us now sum the pros and cons.
Pros:
- Felt tip applicator
- Jet black shade
- Highly pigmented
- Transfer proof
- Long lasting
- Affordable
- Suitable for sensitive eyes
- Glides on easily
Cons:
- Felt tip could have been better
- Not waterproof
- Not completely matte
Conclusion:
At this price, I think the product a must try for everyone because of the quality that it offers. If you’re a beginner, I’m sure you’ll love this!

You can also find this eyeliner at some great discounts on Nykaa and Amazon. I’m going to repurchase the brown and the violet one next! Let me know what you think of this one in the comments section below.

Great review and love the way you’ve applied it! The fine tip allows you to make such precise lines… can’t wait to see how violet fares. BTW the name makes it sound like a drawing pen 😛
