Honestly, I’ve never really been a huge fan of poker straight hair and have always loved having wavy or curly hair! My hair was naturally straight but after getting them cut into tons of layers all the time, they’ve become quite wavy! To enhance the waviness, I thought of giving this product a shot!
I was not going to review this product since it’s already been spoken about quite a bit, but the results made me share it with all of you! Let us move on to the review now:
Price: Rs.550 for 150gms
Frankly speaking, I was pretty skeptical about this product, since it is meant for curly and not wavy hair like mine. But I love how it worked on my hair!
It needs to be scrunched into the hair for a good 4 to 5 minutes for attaining the best results. It makes my hair a lot wavier and also improves the texture of my hair. The effect lasts for 2-3 days! The product will not work if you brush your hair after using it. It will not weigh down your hair or leave it feeling greasy. It also controls frizz to a great extent and leaves your hair smelling fresh.
I use this product as mentioned on the bottle, but I first comb my hair using a wide tooth-comb. (Yes, I do comb my wet hair) I scrunch my hair until its semi-dry and do not brush it after that. The pump dispenser makes the cream very easy to use.
The leave-in cream will not work if you’ve straight hair. The only con is that the product needs to be scrunched in for a good amount of time or else it’ll not work. And for late risers like me, who are always rushing in the morning, do not get time to do much to their hair. Hence, I end up using this only on the weekends 😛
Let us sum up the pros and cons now:
- Great for wavy or curly hair
- Will not weigh your hair down
- Controls frizz
- The effect lasts for long
- No greasiness
- Pleasant smell
- Pump dispenser
- Easily available
- Requires time to be worked in
- A lot of chemicals
- On the expensive side
Do give this one a shot, if you wish to give some definition to your wavy or curly hair!
