Moisturizers are something I use all time and the idea of just spraying one onto my skin, was simply irresistible. Although I had already stocked up on the Cetaphil Restoraderm Moisturizer for the coming winter, when the advertisements for the Vaseline Spray Moisturizers came up, I instantly gave into the temptation!
So moving on, the spray moisturizers come in two variants: Deep Restore priced at Rs.310 and Cocoa Radiant, which retails for Rs.380 (both for 200ml). Today I’m going to review the Deep Restore variant!
The USP of the product is that, it is a spray moisturizer and I am completely in love with that! It is so quick and easy to apply, no caps to put back on or squeezing the bottle until you get the last drop out 😛
Coming to the performance, it moisturizes the skin really well. Although, I don’t think it would be sufficient for extremely dry skin, especially during the winters. But people with normal to dry skin, should definitely try this one out!
The moisturizer claims to be non-greasy and it totally is! There is absolutely no residue left after you massage it in. Another claim by the company is that, it gets absorbed in seconds and I need to agree to that as well! Check out the video below to know how quickly it gets absorbed!
It smells just like the Vaseline Deep Restore Lotion, which itself smells amazing! The moisturizer leaves a faint fragrance behind, which lingers on for an hour or so.
The consistency of the moisturizer is quite thin, but certainly not runny. The bottle also comes with a locking system, wherein you twist the cap to lock it, great for hygiene purposes.
My only disappointment is that, the spray moisturizer doesn’t come in a smaller packaging. It would definitely be a staple in bag, if it came in a small bottle as well! I would also like to mention that, my mom is also totally in love with the concept of spraying on a moisturizer and the product as well, of course! 😛
Let us sum up the pros and cons now:
- Spray moisturizer!
- Quick and easy application
- Very moisturizing
- Gets absorbed quickly
- Smells great
- Hygienic packaging
- Easily available
- Might not be enough for people with extremely dry skin
- No smaller packaging
A great product, not just for the spray part but for the hydration as well! Do give it a shot!
